Links to my work and life interests appear at left. I've been a professional photographer for 29 years - long enough to remember film (Kodachrome even!). In that time I've also developed a passion for graphic design and it's rampaging stepchild - web design. For nearly all of those 29 years I've also been teaching at the college level in photography, filmmaking, and graphic design with digital tools (thank you Mr. Jobs, Mr. Nikon, and Mrs. Adobe!)

I've recently begun designing books. My first, in early 2007, received warm reviews for its design; and now I'm involved with several new projects - essentially to prove to myself that the first one wasn't an accident of providence.

Nearly three decades and they still haven't figured out I don't know what I'm doing... I'd appreciate it if you didn't spread that around. Thanks.
